MSA CAMP II
The second day was the Amazing Race! I was so reluctant to wake up after only having 4 hours of sleep. I cant walk in a straight line when i went to the other apartments to borrow toothpaste. Our apartment's fridge was empty for the entire 3 days, so were our bathrooms.
After the briefing by the project heads, every group made our way back to school for a couple of games. The games were SUPER FUN!
We had to walk in pairs 'crab-style', blow and burst a balloon when we reach the other side. Ziyi and Weibin was the classic pair man! HAHAHAHHAHAA!
Next, we have to turn ourselves 5 rounds, take a bite of the apple in the pail of water and then do zombie jump/duck walk to the other side. Lastly when every group member are at the other side, we have to write 'MSA CAMP' using nylon strings tied to a marker.
Leonard and Shannon practically dipped their whole head into the pail of water to bite that apple. Damn funny !
Team Lala, we're yellow!
The 3rd game requires us to pass cups of flour from one end to the other and fill up a bottle with it.
The last minigame requires us to make some sort of protection so that when our eggs are dropped from the 3rd storey, it wont break.
Ours abit jiapalang lar. Just put the egg inside the toilet roll and throw all the stuff into the plastic bag. When it was dropped from the 3rd storey, we heard a damn loud crack!
Needless to say, we cant save our egg.
After some cheers, each group were given their own clue and off we go! Our first stop was Carlton Hotel, and we were supposed to take a photo with the bellboy there.
But before that, we went back to our apartment to take some things, and on our way to the busstop we saw a RED UNDERWEAR! "Wa, red underwear leh! Today sure heng heng already!"
True enough, we were extremely lucky that day.
We wanted to take a photo with the figurines there, but somehow we covered them up.
Jiahui and I!
Our next clue lead us to Singapore Flyer. We took a long time to figure it out man. When we reached Singapore Flyer, we saw Jonathan and Xindan and we had lunch together at Popeye's.
Aisyah! Fellow titan mate (:
Xiankai!
Unshaven Jerel! HAHAHA!
Artistic shot by Jerry.
After our lunch, we have to take a photo with an artwork by a specific person with tourists.
Next, we are off to the Memorial "Giant Chopsticks", and we were supposed to find the malay translation of the place.
Mr. Stamford Raffles!
The weather was scorching hot that day man, and the umbrella Jerel got was of no use.
While waiting for the bus to go Youth Park. Our group have to dance the Macarena when there's a flea market going on in the back! Shopped around and bought drinks before heading off to the Art Museum.
We have to take photographs with 3 artefacts.
"See no touch, see no touch! Cannot read sign isit ! " HAHAHA.
That was my first time in the Art Museum, and it is so cool!
We went into this blackandwhite photography section, and all the photos are real awesome.
We love to take escalators shots. Had a hard time finding the station masters at the National Library! Why you all hide at the staircase there!
Xiankai and I had to find the height of something at level 5. But then i was super blur lar, the thing was right infront of me and i didnt recognise it. Only when Xiankai went back to check again then we got the answer.
Headed to Bugis for our last stop of the day, and we are supposed to find the operating hours of a temple there. Huikoon texted us the last clue to our final destination, and we had a real hard time deciphering it because it makes no sense to us! We thought it would be at school.
Finally, Jerry and Xiankai solved it and the answer was ' VIVOHUIKOON' HAHAHA!
The whole group of us were quite high lar when we were the first group to reach. But then there's nothing to do, so we played some IQ games like NineCards and Housefly.
The Housefly was damn stupid lar!!!!! I cant believe i took so long to figure that out. But its quite fun to watch others who doesnt get it. HAHAHAHA!
IAN!
When all the groups finally arrived after quite some time, we went out to buy our dinner and played iq games again! Its really fun man. And lastly, what can ba society do without taupok?
Went back to The Loft in packs and i think we talked too loudly in the bus journey back, people were all staring at our group.
That's Ziyi and James infront and Royston and I at the back!Had a combined meeting with the MCs and had fun sharing our thoughts on BA Society thus far. "BA Society is like a part of my body!" "BA Society is like a bed, and all of us are parts of it! If we miss out one part, the bed wont be comfortable!"
AHAHHAA.
"ZIYI WHY YOU HAVEN BATH?????" HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Changed into our SCO shirts after bathing and its partytimeeeeeeeee !
Blasted music and everyone got to their feet and danced the night away! But then everyone were super tired, so most of them K.O around 5-6am. Since there's nothing left to do, i also slept around 6+ and woke up at 9 for debrief.
LALA WON! We won a food hamper and the MCs gave each of us a gift -customized photoframe with our group photo inside!
Took lots of group shots and we wrote testimonials for one another. After which, we checked out and headed to the field to record a BA cheer for BAOC'09!
BA OEI!
HUM-AH!
This camp is definately the best ! Hopefully there will be more to come ya! Big thanks to all the project heads who had put in all the effort to make MSA a huge sucess!
Next up, Halloween party and Amazing Race 4; and updates on NP@45 and the trip to Sungei Buloh! (:
