VIET VIET VIETNAMMMM! PART 1
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS STUDY MISSION TRIP 2009 (VIETNAM)
Part 1

Before embarking on our 10 days of holidays to Vietnam, we had a 5 days workshop based in school from 9-5pm everyday.
After attending it for 2 days, the air con makes it unbearable for me, so i had no choice but to skip the test!

Finally the day comes when we are setting off to VIETNAMMMM! So freaking eggcited about the trip, hahaha!
Group photos taken after checking in luggage above.

Jessica Xinying and Me! And a little bit of Leonard behind, haha.

The Googirls are setting off to rock Vietnam's ass!
Hahaha, we are the only all girls group okay, our motto is Kiasu ttm!
Lynette, Yi Lin, Josephine, Xinying, Jessica and Me.

The gang coming down to send us off.

In transit! Heading over to our gate.

And we're off!
Goodbye Singapore for the next 10 days!!

Weeeeeeeee!

The pork tasted abit weird. Haha, but i like plane food nonetheless because they packaged it nicely for you. I like!

Lynette's Eeyore with the menu.

Lynette!

After around 4 hours of flight, we are finally landing in Vietnam Hanoi! Super excited about our hotel and our tour guide.

Our tour guide is Canh, and he's a damn humorous guy! Though his english is CMI, but his humor and stories covers up that imperfection.
His standard "Good evening Ladies and Gentlemens... Today i would like to give you a short presentation on our agenda today (but its never short)! Thank you very much for listening, thank you, thanks!"

Omgod, he always crack us up. Josephine can imitate his voice very well sia.

Canh bought us to a local Vietnamese restaurant for dinner first before heading over to our hotel. Along the way, we saw ALOT ALOT ALOT of motorbikes! Even women wearing short skirts and stilettos sia. Vietnamese are truly super zai.

But, before we could get to the restaurant, we got lost in the streets of Hanoi.......
Hahaha, damn ironic, considering Canh mentioned previously that he knows the streets of Hanoi very well.
Yilin and Lynette!
Group shot with our tour guide before our meal.
At the beginning, i wasnt quite used to the restaurant layout because their shop space is expanding vertically instead of horizontally! That means alot of steps to climb. No wonder Vietnamese women so skinny.

Xinying couldnt wait for the rest of our food to reach. She wants to dig in already lor! Hahaha.

The chicken is so big and fat, i dont know how am i going to finish it.
Hahaha! Lynette eggcited only!

Yilin!
See the portion See the portion!!!
Its humongeous! I couldnt finish most of it, and so did alot of others. I think only Edwin's table cleared all.

To add on, there's still potato wedges! Super niceee.
We finally reached our hotel after dinner:
Indochina Hotel!

The room Josephine and I got was so puny that if you walk 2 steps, you will reach the bathroom from the door. Walk another 2 steps, you reach the beds. Walk another 2 steps, you can walk out of the room already.
):

Lynette's room is so much better than ourssssss! Hahaha. That's why we kpo abit, we checked out their rooms before sleeping.
Colorful people yo!

That's it for Day 1!
Cant believe Josephine actually set 6 alarms that night! PABO! PABO! PABO!
Hahaha.
The alarms starting ringing at 4.30am, then she slept so much like a pig that ending up, i'm the one who have to switch it off.
The intervals are 4.30am, 5 am, 5.30am, 5.35am, 6am, 6.15am!
Wah, gg. My eyebags are huge the next morning. Haha.

Okay, BYEBYE.

Tell me to stop. 1:02 AM
